michael jackson and farrah fawcett died today... it's so strange, but hearing certain songs and seeing images from the 80's can just instantly transport you back to that time... what a surreal day... trying to remember the first time i tried to moonwalk. i wonder how many kids have tried to imitate mj during their lifetime? must be billions...

some dancers on tv today were saying that michael was the first to blend different styles of dance on tv: indian, african, hip-hop,... and a guy from billboard noted that you can go down the list of top pop singers today and probably 80% have been influenced by mj in one way or another... sad that with all that genius and talent, he still remained so unhappy and unable to attain peace within himself his entire life... hope he finds rest now...
